Sierra Leone: Sierra Leone Brewery reactivates Maltina games

Corporate Communication Manager of Sierra Leone Brewery Ltd, Kobi Walker stated on April 27 that they are ready to reactivate the long awaited Maltina games, which have stopped for quite some time in order to provide best products for their numerous customers more especially children, Concord Times Posted on May 4, 2006.

"We are going to bring onboard 32 schools to participate in a relay competition at the national stadium as a start of our activities, " he said and maintained that they give priority to children as the product provides nourishment and energy to children.

He further disclosed that they have embarked on several Maltina campaigns across the city for children. " We have centres at Lumbley beach and Village beach bar for children to be treated with Maltina products," he said adding that they will ensure adequate security measures are put in place for the relay.

Director of Physical and Health Education Division of the Ministry of Education Science and Technology, Sahid Conteh lauded Brewery for organizing such a beautiful programme for pupils from different schools as that would create unity among pupils in their respective schools.

"My Ministry is in total support of the relay and we will play our own part to ensure that it is successfully," he concluded.
